Bia Kid™ is a family-run Irish company owned by Yvonne and Gerard Scully. Their meals are based on recipes used by Yvonne at home to feed her own family.
In order to make these meals commercially available to other parents, they employed industry experts such as Paula to advise on nutritional issues. Her input alongside other industry experts such as food technologists, helped Yvonne to develop and test recipes to find the most nutritionally balanced meal combinations for children.
Bia Kid produce healthy convenient chilled meals that contain no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or added salt. They are also naturally low in sugar. Made in Dunhill, County Waterford, the chilled meals are made from 100% traceable Irish meat, chicken and fresh vegetables.
Paula's task was to ensure that all of the Bia Kid meals were nutritionally balanced as well as analysing the final meals for their nutrition composition and providing information for the label. She also provided nutrition information on the range and children’s dietary requirements for the Bia Kid website.
