I recently took a trip down to Wicklow to visit my colleague Kellie Collins, where I was very impressed to see that she has wholeheartedly embraced the trend for "Growing Your Own Vegetables".
Kellie has a raised bed in her garden, where she is growing lettuce, onions, carrots, cabbage, courgettes, broad beans and French beans. The pictures here show the evidence of all her hard work!
I have already tried some lettuce and cabbage from her garden, and I can assure you it tastes so much better than supermarket-bought produce. It's great to know there are no sprays or chemicals used, and you can grow so much produce from just a few tiny seeds. I look forward to sampling some more goodies later in the month!
