What is High In / Low in ?
      
      
We are so used to hearing about how we should eat more fibre and eat less sugar and salt, but how can you tell if something is high in fibre or low in sugar? Use these figures as a quick, easy guide to making healthy food choices. The nutrition information panel on food labels will help you to do this.
      
      
        What is HIGH?What is LOW?
FIBREFoods containing 6g or more fibre per 100g are high fibre foodsFoods containing less than 3g or fibre per 100g food
SALT / SODIUM1.5g of salt or more per 100g of food or 0.6g of sodium or more is high salt0.3g of salt or less per 100g of food or 0.1g of sodium or less is low salt
SUGAR15g sugars or more per 100g is high sugar5g sugars or less per 100g is low sugar
FAT20g fat or more per 100g is high fat3g fat or less per 100g is low fat
SATURATED FAT5g saturates or more per 100g is high1.5g saturates or less per 100g is low
